Expert-led trainings to build the skills that providers need to support children, parents and families.
Family Paths' trainings are free and open to those who work with foster youth in Alameda County.
Our trainings emphasize the importance of culturally responsive practice and the complexities that children and families in the foster care system face, as well as helping children and families at risk of system involvement.
Family Paths (CEU Provider #62239) provides trainings and workshops in conjunction with Chabot-Las Positas Community College District and Alameda County through Title IV-E Funding.
A wonderful, thoughtful, nuanced and complex training with great discussions around cultural humility.
The trainer was fantastic and so engaging. I really enjoyed how interactive this training was. The content was unlike most of the trainings I have attended. The information provided was directly relatable to my work.
I appreciate the opportunities you provide to reflect on my work, myself in the work, and how I can do a better job of centering the client and sensing what they need.
