
We rented the Grove Building for a teacher professional development. The building is stunning. The architecture is beautiful. Shay was very helpful with anything we needed. It was a pleasure working with Shay, and the venue is a little hidden gem.

The Grove Building was an amazing space! Very accommodating, the conference room had everything we needed. Shay and Bernie made sure we had coffee, hot water, and a variety of teas throughout our training. They both helped us set up and close out each day! The space is accessible and the parking lot was a plus. We used it to park and for breakout sessions.

This was a beautiful space for holding our event. We rented the room on a Saturday to teach a class to 15 Students and it was perfect. The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. There is a nice sized kitchen connected to the room which was helpful for keeping our drinks refrigerated throughout the day. The bathrooms were all very tidy. We will absolutely be returning to the Grove Building to host our future meetings!

Affordable Pricing
Rental fees are $95/hour with a 3-hour minimum. We offer a 10% discount to non-profit organizations for 8+ hours. A non-refundable 30% deposit is required two weeks before the booking.

Amazing location & accessibility
Our ground floor location, with direct sidewalk access and free parking, is just a few blocks away from the Federal Building, 5 minutes walking distance to downtown and Oakland City Hall. Three walkable blocks to 19th Street BART and one block from freeway access to 980, 580, 880 and Highway 24. It is wheelchair accessible.

Room details
The dimensions of the conference room are 25′ x 35’ (875sq. ft.), and the room has a maximum capacity of 60. The Grove Building is a secure building, with intercom access. Access to the building is via intercom. Renters can buzz in their own attendees/late comers. There is ADA access to the building via ramp.
There is no smoking inside the building, but there is a seating area outside in the parking lot. Outside catering is allowed.
