A letter to our community

Hello, Family Paths community,

I want to acknowledge the moment we are in. Across our country, and around the world, communities are experiencing real and profound suffering. For many of our clients, and many of us, this time brings fear, grief, anger, and uncertainty.

As a behavioral health organization, we understand that these broader conditions show up in our bodies, our relationships, and our work. We recognize that many communities are deeply afraid and hurting, and I want to affirm our shared commitment to leading with Respect, Integrity, Compassion, and Hope. I know many of you, our staff and many of the families we serve, are carrying a great deal right now.

Please take care of yourselves, and each other, and know that it is okay to name what you are feeling and to seek support. Our work is rooted in holding children and families through difficult times, and that commitment matters now more than ever.

With care,

Shareen Leland, M.S., LMFT

Executive Director
