Dear Family Paths Community,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, it is with deep appreciation and heartfelt emotion that we announce the retirement of our esteemed Executive Director, Barbra Silver, after 27 years of dedicated service to Family Paths. Barbra will continue to lead Family Paths through the end of the year and will help with the transition of the new ED.
Barbra’s journey with us began in 1998 as a mental health clinician. Her commitment to healing and empowerment quickly distinguished her, leading to roles as Program Manager, Clinical Director, and since 2016, Executive Director. At every step, Barbra has led with compassion, integrity, and an unwavering belief in the resilience of the individuals and families we serve.
Her leadership has helped shape Family Paths into the trusted and vital organization it is today. From expanding mental health and family support services to strengthening community partnerships, Barbra’s legacy is one of growth, advocacy, and care.
While we will miss her guidance and daily presence, we celebrate this milestone with her and thank her for her incredible service. A transition plan is underway, and we will keep our community updated in the coming months.
Please join us in honoring Barbra’s remarkable career and in wishing her all the best in her well-earned retirement.
With gratitude,
The Family Paths Board of Directors
